SIUKINS

FEATURED ARTIST

SIUKINS

SIUKINS (Chiu Ka Kin, born in 1995) is an artist from Hong Kong who frequently explores the theme of “overthinking” in his creations. Through introspection and personal experiences, he consistently delves into the relationship between abstract thoughts and the individuals who think them, as well as the intricacies of human emotions.

His works are profoundly influenced by Japanese art and design aesthetics. The recurring motif of thought bubbles in his works represents the swirling ideas and emotions in the mind and grapples with these intangible, cluttered entities in an engaging and playful manner. The characters in SIUKIN’s works often exude a sense of detachment, and, together with the signature bubbles surrounding them, they embody the unique and colorful world of the artist.
