ANGELA HO

Ho is an artist originally from Melbourne, Australia and lives in Hong Kong. Working under the moniker ‘Ahoy’, she creates characters and scenes predominantly with acrylic paint and pixels, and sometimes with spray paint, animation and augmented reality.

Her aesthetic is influenced by a love of vintage children’s books and toys as well as the animations of Fleischer Studios and early Disney. Angela’s paintings have been exhibited in galleries that tend to focus on pop surrealism including Outré, Corey Helford and Dorothy Circus Galleries in Melbourne, LA and Rome respectively. Her work was featured in the April 2019 print edition of Hi-Fructose Contemporary Art magazine. Her commercial clients include Slurpee, House Of Vans, GQ and Fast Company magazine amongst others.
