This year, The Stallery marks a milestone—10 years of exhibitions and fostering community within the contemporary art scene in Hong Kong. Since its founding in December 2014, The Stallery has been more than just a gallery; it has been a space for artistic dialogue, experimentation, and evolution in the context of Hong Kong’s dynamic society. To celebrate a decade of having been in the same location in Wanchai, this special decennial anniversary exhibition will reflect on the journey of both the gallery and its founder Ernest Chang’s artistic practice, tracing the evolution of his work from the beginning to today.

The exhibition will be a comprehensive look at the development of Ernest Chang as an artist, showcasing key works created at The Stallery over the past ten years. Alongside this, a curated selection of featured artworks from past exhibitions will highlight artists who have contributed to the gallery’s vibrant and diverse history— including Bao, BOMS, Chak, Frog King, Siukin and more.

Running from end of February to end of March 2025, the exhibition will be punctuated by a major anniversary celebration at the start and the event will gather past clients, collectors, press, and artists for an evening of reflection and fun, setting the stage for another exciting decade ahead. The year-long schedule of exhibitions will continue with a lineup of group shows which is underscored by Chang’s much-anticipated solo show, opening in late May.
